ARJUNA BARK :

Arjuna is a thick, tall soft bark deciduous tree from the family Combretaceae. Arjuna powder is made from the bark of Terminaliaarjuna and are mainly used for therapeutic usage. It is rich in glycosides, flavones, tannins, oligomericproanthocyanidins and minerals including calcium, magnesium, zinc and copper.

Botanical name: Terminalia Arjuna.
 

Common name:  kumbuk/ maddi/ marudha.

Medicinal properties:

1. Arjuna Bark possesses cardio protective and cardio-strengthening properties. It strengthens cardiac muscle and normalizes the increased pulse rate. Also, it improves blood circulation to the heart tissue and lowers LDL levels, triglycerides and cholesterol levels.
2. By circulating the blood properly, Arjuna powder decreases the chance of clot formation & supports healthy heart functioning.
3. Arjuna Bark enhances overall energy levels, stamina, immunity, and cellular health.
4. The anti-ulcerative property of Arjuna powder inhibits the occurrence of gastric ulcers and gastritis.  It fights against the harmful bacteria and prevents the damage to the gastric mucosa.
