Baheda is made from the fruit of Terminalia bellerica in the combretaceae family. Baheda is one of the three fruits of triphala. In sanskirit, it is known as vibheetaki, which means lack of fear & has been widely used to treat numerous conditions especially respiratory problems, digestive disorders etc.

Attributes:

1. Baheda is laxative and helps in detoxifies the body.
2. Baheda helps in loss of appetite, flatulence, thirst, piles and worms.
3. Baheda prevents ageing, imparts longevity, boosts immunity, improves mental faculties and enhances the body resistance against diseases.
4. Baheda acts as an astringent and anti-diarrheal.
5. Baheda  helps in lowering cholesterol and blood pressure.
